GeckoSub Nose Clips come in Small, Medium and Large. You can also chose which side you prefer the slider to be on.
Yep, you are right - there are only two sizes present in this class photo as medium was on holiday that day. We will do our utmost to get medium to pose for a pic some day soon.
But hey, at least you get to see some color choices but more on that later.
You can chose the color of the lanyard, markings and the small piece of fishing line between the lanyard and the clip. Ask which colors are in stock as some may not always be available.
I really like that punchy orange, though. But then again, I really like the lime green, pink and a few others, too. Drop me a line and I will tell you what’s available or incoming.
As of now, there isn’t any choice of color on the plastic itself. I am using much stronger and tougher engineering resins than what’s commonly used and they don’t really come in m(any) choices of color. But if this changes, I will surely check it out:-)
I am experimenting with various types of packaging, but I think I will be settling on these tin cans, though. They are fairly sturdy, not plastic and you can use them to store and protect the nose clip when traveling.
You can add your name to the clip - or pretty much anything else in text as long as it’s not too long;).
This clip has more subdued markings with the name on the inside of the cross beam and only the GeckoSub logo on the front. The name is visible and right side up when the nose clip is open and hanging from the lanyard.
This clip has the name on the front and placed such that it’s visible when the clip is closed and on the nose. DiveEye may even pick it up:). Or at least, when you surface, it should come out nicely in close up pics.
Since we have limited space on the cross bar, you’re in luck if your name is short or you don’t mind using a shorter nick name.
If you’re Bartholomew, even with a small font I am not sure we can fit it in, so it’d be helpful if you went by Bart, too;)
But don’t worry, I will send you a render first so you can sign off on the markings if we are in doubt.
GeckoSub nose clips are serialized. Your clip is not mass produced, it is personalized and - with some help from Ze Robots - handmade by me. I think that warrants a unique number.
I can’t really jump the line too much to give you your lucky number, but I will certainly avoid a certain number if you have such one(s).
Or rather the old blue.
Supposedly, until about a century ago, pink used to be a “boy’s color” or at least, wasn’t reserved for girls. And things are changing. Which is cool because pink rocks. For everyone!
